Barge ramp facilities

There is a three acre secured staging area next to the barge ramp at the southern end of the estate, adjacent to the marina. Building materials for individual homes can be delivered to it and stored until needed.

North Sound – the stretch of water adjacent to Blunder Bay – is a popular spot for fishing and diving. To protect the reef from any damage, we are installing mooring buoys, often used in the BVI as an alternative to anchoring which can break and damage the coral reef. The buoys also act as markers for areas that are regulated, and help with navigation.
Swimming platform

The swimming dock and platform will be perfect for swimming and sunbathing.
Independent road

Blunder Bay is only accessed by boat or helicopter. Transit points are Gun Creek and Leverick Bay via the North Sound or from Virgin Gorda Yacht Harbour, Trellis Bay or Beef Island. The independent road within the Blunder Bay Estate, runs from the main dock on the south side of the estate up to the north side. The 12ft wide concrete road with passing lay-bys will give home owners access to their site from within the estate. Colour pigmented to blend into the surrounding vegetation, the road will be landscaped along its entire length, and carefully excavated boulders will be reused as design features.
Nature reserve

An additional three acres of land have been leased from the BVI government for use as a storage area during development. Once building work has completed the area will become a wild life nature reserve for residents to explore the island’s natural ecology.

Construction of a helipad is underway for the use of Blunder Bay residents to fly in from Puerto Rico, St Thomas, Tortola and St Maarten.
