An ultraviolet water purifier and 5 micron water filter ensure excellent quality drinking water and plenty of water for gardening. A 20 kW back-up Cummins Onan generator with automatic transfer switch supplies the house with a reliable electrical supply during power outages. This is complemented by a surge protector for the whole house and brown out protectors for cooling units. Hurricane standards were exceeded in the architectural design and construction. The roof has been tied directly to the foundation with stainless steel cables hidden inside the concrete filled fiberglass pillars. Easy closing hurricane shutters allow you to quickly secure the house and wait comfortably inside until the storm passes. With an eye for ease of maintenance, all decks are tiled. Concrete balusters and balustrades along with fiberglass pillars free you to enjoy your verandah instead of spending time maintaining it.
